Bio

Born in 1992 in Toronto, Keiran Brennan Hinton received his BFA from Pratt Institute in 2014 and his MFA from Yale University in 2016. Brennan Hinton’s practice primarily focuses on observational painting, starting with a limited palette, the artist mixes colours that exist in his daily life, adjusting the temperature of the light or the saturation of the shadows. Brennan Hinton captures seemingly private and personal moments rooted in specific art historical references.

Brennan Hinton’s recent solo exhibitions include Lonesome Whistle, SOCO Gallery (Charlotte, 2025), A Break in the Clouds, Charles Moffett Gallery (New York 2023), Ordinary Light, MAKI Gallery (Tokyo, 2022), Between the Woods and Frozen Lake, Nicolas Robert Gallery (Toronto, 2022); Towards Sentimentality, Charles Moffett (New York, 2021). Furthermore, he has actively shown at institutional exhibitions, most recently; I am Here, Home Movies and Everyday Masterpieces, at the Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto, ON. Brennan Hinton has attended multiple residencies including the James Castle House in Boise, Idaho, Corsicana Artist and Writers Residency in Corsicana, Texas and the Macedonia Institute in Chatham, New York. His work has appeared in publications such as the The Brooklyn Rail, House and Home Magazine, Macleans Magazine and Forbes.

Bio

Grace MacNair is a poet, teacher, and healthcare professional. Born and raised in North Carolina, she holds an MFA from Hunter College and currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.

A 2023 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellow in Poetry, Grace has received fellowships and support from the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund, Storyknife, Marble House Project, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Monson Arts, the Carolyn Moore Writers House, and Bread Loaf Writers' and Translators' Conference. Grace was selected by Yona Harvey as the winner of Radar Poetry's 2021 Coniston Prize and by Safia Elhillo as the winner of Palette Poetry's 2022 Emerging Poet Prize. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in The Threepenny Review, Poetry Northwest, The Missouri Review, Frontier Poetry, Best New Poets 2022, and elsewhere. Grace's micro-chapbook, Even As They Curse Us, is available from Bull City Press.

Bio

Sofía del Pedregal Moscatelli (b. 1989, Concepción, Chile) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Santiago, Chile, whose work spans photography, video installation, drawing, painting, poetry, and artist's books. Her practice explores the intersections of memory, materiality, and landscape, drawing on her deep engagement with abstraction and conceptual art. She earned her BFA in Visual Arts with a major in Painting from the Universidad de Chile (Santiago) in 2013 and completed her MFA in Art Studio at the University of California-Davis in 2022, where she refined her approach through experimental techniques and cross-cultural dialogues.

Sofía has been the recipient of several prestigious awards and fellowships, including the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture Fellowship (2024) and the Monson Arts Residency Award (2024). Her work has been recognized internationally with grants such as the 2023 FONDART National Arts grant in Chile, and she was honored with the Fay Nelson Award from the University of California-Davis in 2021. Her solo exhibitions, including "Lo Abierto" (2019) at Andrea Brunson Space Gallery in Santiago and "Cajonera" (2016) at NAC Gallery, have established her as a prominent voice in contemporary Chilean art. She has exhibited at major museums in Santiago (Chile), such as the MAC Contemporary Art Museum and the MAVI Museum of Visual Arts. Additionally, her work is part of the Centro Nacional de Arte Contemporáneo Cerrillos collection in Chile.

Del Pedregal's recent international group shows and art fairs (2019-2022) include the NY Art Book Fair 2019 by Printed Matter at MOMA PS1 in New York, the Arts & Humanities 2022 Graduate Exhibition at the Manetti Shrem Museum of Art in Davis, California, the 21st International Biennale Petit format de Papier in Belgium/France, the Indy Film Library Experimental Showcase in Amsterdam, and the Codex 2022 Book Fair in Richmond, California. She also participated in Environmental Alterations, curated by Loosen Art in Rome, and Closed Door at Gallery 1111 in Budapest (as Meetings.proj).In 2023, her essay The Standard Galactic Alphabet was published in Ojo al charqui: escritos de pintores contemporáneos chilenos by Universidad de Chile Press. Sofía’s work continues to evolve through international residencies, including the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture (2024), Monson Arts Residency (2024), and LaVALLE Residency in Italy (2023), where she investigates the relationship between place, history, and artistic production.

Bio

Yoshie Sakai is an interdisciplinary artist (video, sculpture, installation, performance) and based in Gardena, California. Her practice centers on exploring family dynamics, cultural identity, and the immigrant experience inspired by everyday moments from her life as a Japanese-American artist in South Los Angeles. She infuses humor and a maximalist aesthetic, critiquing capitalist structures and mainstream expectations through immersive, character-driven narratives that focus on historically overlooked perspectives. She is the recipient of the 2024 Harpo Foundation Grant for Visual Artists, 2021/22 City of Los Angeles (COLA) Individual Master Artist Fellowship, Foundation for Contemporary Arts Emergency Grant (2018 and 2023), and the 2012 California Community Foundation for Visual Artists Emerging Artist Fellowship. She has attended residencies at the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture, Elizabeth Murray Artist Residency, Marble House Project, Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, the Kohler Arts/Industry Residency (Foundry), and International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP). Her work has been shown at institutions such as the Vincent Price Art Museum, John Michael Kohler Arts Center, California State University Dominguez Hills University Art Gallery, Verge Center for the Arts, Antenna, and the Chinese American Museum Los Angeles, as well as internationally (Cambodia, Canada, Germany, and Japan).
