59,411 — Sunset Performance with Coco Klockner
About
Named for the number of steps it is rumored to take to walk the perimeter of the island, 59,411 is an evolving, multi-part project examining the history, aesthetics, possibilities, and politics of walking, curated by Laurel Ptak. Unfolding throughout this summer and fall, join us on Saturday, October 10th for the next event in this series with past Lighthouse Works Fellow Coco Klockner.
Join us at the Ordnance from 5:15–6:15pm as artist Coco Klockner performs a hybrid live set that imposes sound onto various architectural components of The Ordnance building on Fishers Island, dividing 2700 seconds of the sunset into variously modulated intervals of time.
