Lighthouse Works invites you to an evening with acclaimed author Jenny Offill on Saturday, September 19, at The Fishers Island Library.
Drinks will be served at 5:00 p.m., followed by a reading and conversation at 5:30 p.m.
Offill will read an excerpt from a forthcoming novel before joining author and Fishers Island Library board member Anna Noyes in conversation.
Presented in collaboration with the Fishers Island Library, this event is part of the Harry S. Parker III Visiting Artist Program, which brings distinguished writers and artists to Fishers Island to engage with Lighthouse Works Fellows and the island community.
Free and open to all.

Bio
Jenny Offill is the author of the novels Weather, Dept. of Speculation and Last Things. She is the recipient of a Guggenheim fellowship and was a finalist for the Folio Prize, the Pen/Faulkner Award, and the Women’s Prize. She lives in upstate New York and is a writer-in-residence at Bard College.
